I have big pores/ blackheads won't pop how can i get rid of them! ?

I also have really small red bumps but only a few on my forehead.

I did accutane and i had really clear skin for 6 months and now all of a sudden.

I started popping my black head (properly steaming first) and they wouldn't pop.

I have big pores/ blackheads won't pop how can i get rid of them! ?
Elmer's Glue

Use Elmer's glue on your face to get rid of blackheads. Simply apply the glue to your face and peel off when dry.

Apple Zinger Facial Mask (Oily and Acne Prone Skin)

Take 1 medium size apple, grated fine, 5 tbs. honey. Mix the grated apple and honey well. Smooth over skin and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

I use the Oil Free Acne Cleanser with Microclear Technology by Neutrogena. It's in an Orange bottle. Make sure it says ';With Microclear Technology'; on it. It's somewhere between 7 - 9$ at Target. And always moisturize your skin if it feels tight. I use the Soft Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 by Clean and Clear. It's, also, somewhere between 7 - 9$ at Target. Cleanse your face twice a day, once when you wake up and once before you go to bed.

Here's another one I forgot:

Citrus Skin

To take care of enlarged skin pores, you need lemon juice and orange juice. Mix the two juices together and apply all over your face in an upward and outward motion. Wash off after 10 minutes, this is also a good facial mask for oily skin.

different products work for different people-ya gotta try them ur self...but in gonna tell ya most of the people i know that tried proactive...it didn't work 4 them- me and my friends use clean%26amp;clear or nutrigena

Proactive really does work if you have oily skin.

The main thing is, to get the acne off, you want to have ';benzoyl peroxide'; as the ';active ingredient';.

What are some low cost ways to get rid of blackheads & big pores????

    Succulent plant---Aloe Vera...apply it as a mask for 15 min- 2-3 times a weeks...and u r skin will glow after a month....

or use honey --use warm cloth to open pores, smear on honey, leave on 15 to 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and then use cold water to close pores. Use for 3 days in a row and then once a week. Sometimes I mix a little gound oatmeal with the honey, which makes a great mask.

I also use egg whites. Just beat one egg white until it is frothy. Spread it all over your face. Wait until it dries. Rinse it off. My face feels very clean and ';tight'; after this application. And then I use the yolk for cooking.( I have yet to have found a use for the shell)What are some low cost ways to get rid of blackheads %26amp; big pores????

Do I have blackheads or big pores? What can I do to fix it?

All over my nose I seem to have very visible pores that look somewhat big and just like a bunch of dots all over my nose that have a darker tone than my skin tone. They don't seem to be blackheads which I get randomly every once in a while and get rid of easily. What is up with my skin what are these? Big pores? How in the world can I get rid of these big pores and blackheads????

My nose, chin and right in the middle of my forehead has huge pores and lots of black spots which I am assuming is blackheads. I have tried proactive and several over the counter things. How can I get rid of this? It disgusts me and I just don't know what to tryHow in the world can I get rid of these big pores and blackheads????
First off, the area you describe is called the T-zone. You more than likely have combination skin. This means you have oilier skin in this area than the rest of your face. Using a non-stripping cleanser and toner daily along with a clay mask twice weekly should help you with the enlarged pored and black heads. Stay away from Proactive. It is designed for severe acne (diagnosed by a physician)and uses benzol peroxide to clear the skin. Products with mineral oil and alcohol will only cause worse problems. Soap is another.

I use an all natural skin care line that uses apricot oils as one of their ingredients and works wonders for me. Their toners are made with citrus and the moisturizer has rose hips in it. wouldn't use anything else. My skins been clear for a long time now. Hope this helps. How in the world can I get rid of these big pores and blackheads????
try steaming your face and extracting them. Also, use facial masks. I have a skincare and makeup blogand in the skincare section, I have a tutorial. Hope this helps.

I love the purifying mask from o c bigelow, then I use the o c bigelow cucumber skin tonic, I spray it on instead of wiping it on, o c bigelow also has a great honey almond face scrub, and here is a link for a tool that I have that really gets the blackheads out. At walgreens you can buy a little thing that presses down on them and pops them out. It has a little circle on each end.
Put one hand on one side of your head and the other hand on the other side of your head and SQUEEZE!!!! lol
Go for a professional facial, they will extract them

you cant... pore size is genetic...

use a product with salicylic acid 2 x a week

    and a benzoyl peroxide wash 2 x a week..

    each on different days...

and reg soap on the other days..

give it a few weeks to work its magic and your pores will look better and your skin will be clearerHow can i get rid of big pores and blackheads?
I've alrady researched this question haha

The truth is, its tough to shrink the size of your pores

But blackheads, my dear, is quite simple....

    black head clearing strips!

you stick them on your nose or wherever, wait for them to dry (it feels like paper mache`)

then you rip them off and when you look on the strip, you see like 100 black heads pulled out and stuck to it

it doesnt even hurt at all especially cause no one really has hair on their nose, therefore, it doesnt hurt.
Believe it or not all you need is natural OATMEAL SOAP

seriously! It keeps my skin clean and everyone always gets surprised when I tell them that i use oat soap to wash my face every morning.

If you use makeup you should definitely take it off before going to bed (if you don't already) and use the Biore strip's. They actually do work so that it takes away the most visible blackheads :)
i second the blackhead nose strips. the brand is biore, they work great. they should only be used about once a month though. i recommend to use toner, if you aren't already, on a cotton ball every day. i'm sure you have a good face wash routine. keep that up, drink a lot of water, don't pop your blackheads.
You can try Benzac.. Or wash it with soap presumably 3 to 4 times a day and drink alot of clear water...Doing this will make it work...and if u eat alot of greasy and oily stuff u should reduce the amaount you eat
proacrtive is amazing i use it and have no pimples

its also good to drink lots of water because its good for your skin, and dont squeez your blackheads they'll just get worse.
I think this is a great question. I wish I knew the answer. E-mail me when you get a good answer.

Proactive doesn't seem to get rid of blackheads but only pimples. It's weird!

What products, that are for sale in HEB can help me with blackheads and big pores?

I have blackheads, Huge Pores, and some pimples

Mostly in my nose and around it.

My nose is getting dry AND it's still oily.

What products and can I buy to get rid of this that are under $20.What products, that are for sale in HEB can help me with blackheads and big pores?
Massaging with essential oils works wonders. Can quickly reduce pores, get rid of all blackheads and most blemishes. Certain oils are beneficial in treating acne prone and sensitive skins and lessen skin's production of oil. Olive, almond, and cypress are excellent. To get fastest results do it quite vigorously. You will see them diminish in just one day. Oils feed and nourish skin with many beneficial health enhancing nutrients and will give you a revitalized healthy and glowing skin.

It's best to massage with a forward and back motion. Circular massage is less effective.

sometimes just washing it with soap and water helps, but you have to do it twice a day and it rarely works. try using some avon products. They usually always work for all skin types! Or you can order something online from avon. But i dont know any natural remedies, but to keep your pores small you can mix together the white of eggs and some fruit...look it up online. it helps cause the egg tightens your skin, then you wash it off. easy!
The absolute best way to solve your skin problems is to get a professional facial, then discuss with the pro your skin problems, current facial routines, and she will be able to give you tips and solutions on how to improve the condition of your skin. Sometimes, it has to do with your diet or not drinking enough water. Other times, its improper facial routine/hiegene.
You must use really good cleansing products that really get down into your pores. Also wash your nose differently aside from the rest of your face.

    Follow these steps:

    Try neutregena blackhead remover

Put it on your nose individually

Then wash your face with a deep cleanser

    Put toner on it

Follow up by clinique moisterizing gel.

Do this twice a day if you must.

You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

    http://www.fredstown.com/acne.html

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

try proactive, yeah alot of people use it and it really works. try some pore strips for unclogging, from biore' or the heating mask from biore' as well for minimizing pores and cleansing them. any biore' product will do the trick! Good Luck!
change your exfoliator it may not be agreeing with your skin or that your being to rough hence the reaction, seek advice from dermatologist they will give you the clearest and safest advice possible.

also mosturising over pores can make them look larger.
For me, Mint Julep Masks work well. If you try them though, make sure to was them off thoroughly, or the places on your face that you didn't rinse it off will seem dry and stiff.

Other products I use are Clearasil Ultra [the lotion], and Neutrogena Rapid something..I forget what it's called but it's by Neutrogena and it's in an orange container, and I use the pads. It says that it'll help acne in under 8 hours, and believe it or not it actually does do a pretty good job.
Hide in a dark room and don't come out for a few years.

How to deal w/ big pores, blackheads & oily skin at the same time?

I wanna know if there is such a natural way to treat this problems like stuffs you can just grab in the house. But I'm also considering facial products on reasonable prices, hoping this products won't give me additional dilemmas. How to deal w/ big pores, blackheads %26amp; oily skin at the same time?
These remedies will help promote cell turnover %26amp; tighten pores.

You can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.

Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:

Milk of Magnesia - apply in thin layer where needed %26amp; allow to dry 5-10 mins. Will absorb oil %26amp; tighten pores.

Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.

Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.

Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.

Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.

    For toner:

8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin

    or

mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

    Good drugstore products:

Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - has clay %26amp; benzoyl peroxide. I prefer to use it as a mask.

Oxy 10 Face WashHow to deal w/ big pores, blackheads %26amp; oily skin at the same time?
Well you can always try to use this product which contains chlorella polysaccharide to help to improve your skin in long run. I have personally use it for over 18 years and would not hesitate to introduce to anyone.

    You can use the following:

    * Spread a reasonable amount of Miho Cleansing milk and dab a bit of Miho Medicated Bath salt (very fine texture you never believe it) to scrub on the face to remove any dead skin and black heads (in circular motion) concentrate on the black heads area. You can also use the bath salt on the neck and body.

    * Then rinse it off with water. Need not use the bio foam to cleanse the face as you have already used the Medicated Bath salt with cleansing milk and its already clean when you did it.

Note: When you are not doing any face scrub, you can use the bio foam to cleanse the face.

    * Miho Bio foam to cleanse the face.

    * Apply Skin Lotion

Do the above steps consistently you will see the results. The items work well when you use together.

This might be new to you but you can check out the online store from the link given below. They have live chat for you to enquire further.
a good astringent like clean and clear for oily skin should work:)

    Best of luck.
    * witches hazel is really cheap

    * you could also put small amounts of rubbing alcohol on and then use a good moisturizing lotion

    * toothpaste help to dry up oily areas

    * proactive really works well too, my friend used it.

    * the key is you need something to dry the oils, yet you still need to moisturize to avoid over drying your skin. Proactive is pretty reasonable.
Wash it 3 times a day with clearasil (cheapest brand named skin care)

then apply some gels thats for pimples, black heads, etc...

The most important is keep ur skin clear and oil free, jsut wash it with soap often as possible. Might take a month or so...

    FYI - DONT SQEEZE THEM!
I have naturally oily skin and here is what's worked for me: I started using bar soap (Dove is my favorite) to wash my face with, which has really dried up my face, but clears my skin. In the mornings I use Neutrogena moisturizer but at night I apply Oxy Vanishing Lotion, the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide kind. That stuff will make your face dry as a bone after using it for a while, so moisturizer is important throughout the day. I like Queen Helene Mint Mask for dealing with blackheads, and also the Biore strips work. As for things around the house, you can use table salt to exfoliate your skin and lemon juice tightens up pores. Hope this helps. :)
not too sure for the black heads and big pores. But i read in a magazine that people with oily skin can benefit from using bar soap to clean their face since it has a drying effect.

Women Only: I have small blackheads between my legs, when I pop them they come out hard... see details...?

Do you know what these are and how I can treat them??

PLEASE NO GROSS OR MEAN ANSWERS!!!Women Only: I have small blackheads between my legs, when I pop them they come out hard... see details...?
How do I answer this and not be gross? Oh yeah, I'm not a woman anyway. Maybe try those nose strips.Women Only: I have small blackheads between my legs, when I pop them they come out hard... see details...?
I get them too. My doctor said that it is ingrown hairs (folliculitis). My doctor prescribed antibiotics for me and it cleared right up.
Depending on your wieght range, this could be caused from sweating. Heavier peoples thighs touch when the walk, not nesicerally fat though. Seeing house pimples and blackheads are caused from sweat and oil released from your skin naturally this could be an outcome of that.
Ummm what they could actually be is ingrown hairs! Do you have black hair on your legs, because I doubt there are blackheads there!

For them, I suggest a good scrub every shower, to break the skin a bit, and good moisturizing.
That might be boils... not sure... sorry...
Acne and/or blackheads need to be understood and not surpressed. Please go to http://www.nutritional-life.com/Acne/ and read about the ties acne has to nutrition.

Acne is just one of many signs that your body is having issues with what is being consumed and it is being exposed to.

Change your diet and nutrition and change your health. But, start easy and just learn about the issue first.

I squeezed some blackheads on my chin & now in their places are raised, hard, round clear pus-filled circles?

i know i should not have done it but it is soo tempting. now there are really hard round things and i don't know how to get rid of them! they look awful. help please!!!I squeezed some blackheads on my chin %26amp; now in their places are raised, hard, round clear pus-filled circles?
by squeezing the blackheads, the pores became infected. They will go away on their own. Dont try squeezing again....they'll become larger and more irritated. Just keep your face clean and you can probably put acne meds on them. Next time you need to get rid of blackheads, use 2 sterile q tips and squeeze them gently on both sides. Use a little alcohol or astringent afterwards. The pores won't tend to get infected as easily! Good Luck!I squeezed some blackheads on my chin %26amp; now in their places are raised, hard, round clear pus-filled circles?
ughhh, that happened 2 me... sorry, it doesn't go away for months, or like, a year. coverup? Don't pick at it. :(

I find it so hard not to squeeze these things but it's bit of an addiction. Any ideas on how to help get rid of these scabs.I'm always squezzing blackheads, whiteheads, and spots and it always leaves a scab hard to get rid of.?
try not too pop them so hard next time. little pops leave smaller scars. good luck!!I'm always squezzing blackheads, whiteheads, and spots and it always leaves a scab hard to get rid of.?
well first you need to get a regimen...

    1. Pick a day to primp

    2. you will need the following,hot towels,water,wash cloths,and a good astringent.

    Do the following.

steam face for about 10/15 minutes...then place hot towels on face ..until cool, then repeat two to three times. Then wrap the two fingers that you use to squeeze with a cloth or tissue,, and lightly squeeze the black heads out. after doing so wash face and use the wash clothe as an exfoliating cloth.

wash face with cool water and apply the toner.I use Loreal and love it.

. Pick a day or two a week, and do it slowly.

Try to buy a blackhead and pore cleanser for taking care of those problem areas.

Use a retinol, or retin A product to keep your face exfoliated, that in turn will keep the dead cells from clogging and irritating your skin.....Alfa hydroxy (brand) has very good products that will take care of your skin. It has a 10% golic acid, that gives slight skin peels everyday, and removes the dead skins cells, that make you have pimples and black heads in the first place.

If you take care of your skin you'll have less a problem with black heads and anything else for that matter.
stop squeezing them-....try washing your face with a fresh cream or something and you麓ll feel like is clean and won麓t feel so needy to swueeze them
    Stop picking at your face
ook i do that all the time and really you dont need much to stop

    1. dont pick at zits cuz those can spread and cause more zits

    2. use this black head minimizing scrub by noxizema [sp]

    use it every day

3.find a good toner to tighten your pores

    4. dont use foundation its way to heavy

    5. try to only pick the really big ones that look like they are going to pop soon

Sauna works the best but you can get a humidfier and throw and thin sheet over yourself and the humidifier and let the steam open up your pores.. Then squeeze. How do you get rid of blackheads in your skin and some of mine are around my nose in hard to reach places help
like the other said about a humidifier, you can also boil water, pour in a large bowl but a towel over your head above the water. be sure to properly wash your face. dont do to much squeezing or u will end up with scars
Get a washcloth really wet with hot water. Hold it to your blackheads for about 5-7 minutes.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. • What's the best way to ';pop'; those hard to reach blackheads on my back w/o asking my girlfriend to do it?

The best way is going to be to get someone else to do it and if you dont want to ask someone close to you to help then go to someone who does it for a living. If going to a spa seems to expensive to you, check out some schools in your area. You can often get lower prices because they are learning or even a discount on that if you go at the right time. They can treat your back so that the blackheads you have go away and recommend aftercare so that they dont come back and you dont have to worry about this anyway.

As a little side note, some people like ';popping'; pimples and blackheads. Its kind of like a release for them and its fun. Maybe your girlfriend is this type of person. You never know until you ask. This is why some people become esthetians hehe.

Dont forget to ask the school if they need any models, because if you get a class that is practicing on males or for your specific issue you can get your treatment very discounted or even free. What's the best way to ';pop'; those hard to reach blackheads on my back w/o asking my girlfriend to do it?
Get your granny to do it.

My grandmother used to slaughter live pigeons and cook them. She also happens to be an estheticien. If you don't have a grandmother, use a friends' or go to an estheticien. A few treatments per year and her recommendation of a variety of pimple-poppin products will go a long way and will make sure your girlfriend stays in the picture.

Why are blackheads so hard to get rid of?

Annoying as hell! MY skin is dry today with blackheads on my nose. I fell such a mess! Why are blackheads so hard to get rid of?
use exfoliators, like a hard wash cloth with soap. or you can find like, neutrogena at a drug store. Which also work very well.

You can talk to your doctor as well. Why are blackheads so hard to get rid of?
If it's dry that's probably making the problem worse, since your skin will produce excess oil to try and moisturize your skin, leading to more blackheads. Make sure to moisturize as part of your skincare regime.
u have blackheads on your nose because your tzone is oily. and they are so hard to get rid of them because you need to balance out the oil in your tzone. so i would recommend avedas gel cleanser and there liquid exfoliant and i would use both of those twice a day. don't use the cleansers in the store because they dont work they are only for everybodys skin type so its not going to help.
Biore, sells face wash called ';warming anti-blackhead cream cleanser.'; It heats up on your face and feels so good!. And it actually works! Try it, and it only about $3!

I have large pores and hard rocklike blackheads that stick out of my pores. What can I do to get rid of them?

On a side note I used DDF glycolic wash and lotion daily still oily with large pores and blackheads HELPI have large pores and hard rocklike blackheads that stick out of my pores. What can I do to get rid of them?
Try steaming your face over hot water with a towel tented over you to keep the steam in-- 15 mins. Them use a mild exfolliant scrub. After a few days, this should improve. Continue with your wash and lotion.

    Large blackhead in navel?

i have had a large backhead inside my navel (im an inny lol) for YEARS. A few times i have been able to pop it (its hard to get in there to do it) and a hard, stiff amount of pus/blackhead stuff came out. Within a month or so it is always back, in the same place. Any clues as to what the heck is causing this and how to get rid of it? Its quite unsightly..thanksLarge blackhead in navel?
I would recommend that you use icthamol. This is a black colored salve that draws out the impurities and by drawing it out it should get to the core of the problem. Hope it helps!!! You can buy this cream without a prescription at wal-mart or any pharmacy you like.

How to get rid of blackheads and large pores?

Ive been having blackheads for a long time... i try everything but they wont go away. any kinds of home remedies? they're pretty stubborn and tough so they wont leave so easily..

also.. i have large pored on the sides of my cheeks near my nose. i try that steaming then splashing my face with cold water but just like the blackheads, they too are stubborn.. ):

are there any home remedies that can help with this?

    i have

    -combination skin type

    -sensitive skin

    - and what makes me mad the most is that i can get HUGE pimples very easily .

i don't know what to do. im pretty sure its not genetics. my parents don't have very noticeable pores. How to get rid of blackheads and large pores?
Steaming is a good idea as it opens the pores, but cleanse before you splash with cold water (it closes the pores), or you'll be closing your pores with all the dirt still in them.

Toning is reasonably important too, as is a *light* moisturiser (don't apply moisturiser until your skin is completely oil / dirt free though, or you'll be sealing the dirt in)

I know it sounds corny, but try to drink plenty of water and keep as good a diet as possible - the water will help flush any excess toxins you have out the, *cough* 'natural' way, and a good diet will help to see there are as little toxins as possible :o)How to get rid of blackheads and large pores?
microdermabrasion will make a noticeable difference however you'd need to see a dermatologist or beautician. At home though, you could use a facial exfoliating cloth but it will take a while to see the results.

How can I remove a large (1mm diameter) blackhead on my nose?

Help! Squeezing with fingers is hard, because of awkward positioning on my nose. Any products or home advice? How can I remove a large (1mm diameter) blackhead on my nose?
try putting your face over a pot of boiling water(not too close though!) the steam will open up your pores, you can try one of those face spa steamers too, yeah so once the steam opens your pores it'll be easier to work the blackhead out.How can I remove a large (1mm diameter) blackhead on my nose?
I have a blackhead extractor I bought from Shopper's Drug Mart.

You can also use the round end (bottom) of a safety pin - just put the round part over the blackhead, then push down. The blackhead should come out. It'll hurt depending on how hard you push and how deep its embedded. Make sure to clean the safety pin and the area of your nose first with rubbing alcohol.
Talk to your doctor or go to a salon. ekk
If you think you can squeeze it out of your face without consulting a dermatologist, make sure to sterilize your hands and whatever instrument you choose to use. I recommend tweezers. They pinch tight, and completely, and you have full control. just beware that they may be sharp on one end.

Have you tried a biore nose strip???

    Good luck!

  • Blackheads and large pores?

How do i get rid of the blackheads on my nose, cheeks and upper lip?

Also any tips on making the pores on my forehead and cheeks smaller?

    Thanks.Blackheads and large pores?
    Hi,

First off, are you using a good skin care regimen? If not, I recommend Mary Kay's Timewise cleanser and moisturizer. There are several other products offered with the line, but what I mentioned are the basic. I just started using it and love it, even sell it! Also, I offer some Acne treatment gel that will help with your blackheads. Contact me at mmillen@marykay.com for more info and check out my website.Blackheads and large pores?
Use face scrub and rub at your skin. Make sure you actually scrub enough to really get in your pores. If you do this 2-3 times daily, they should disappear in no time.
I know this sounds random.. but if you are going to the beach anytime soon, saltwater from the ocean will fix all of the for you! For some reason, it gets rid of blackheads and makes your pores smaller.

Also, if you wash your face in warm/hot water, then rinse with cool/cold water, this will minimize both. The hot water opens up your pores, letting the soap clean out your skin better, and the cold water closes up your pores and makes them smaller

    I hope this helps :)
I would suggest trying the Proactiv system. I have been using it for over a year and a half and my skin looks about 75% better. Also, make sure the products you use on your skin (makeup, moisturizer, etc.) are oil free and non-comedogenic. Unfortunately you cannot change your pore size; however, you can make your pores less visible through microdermabrasion. You can get this procedure done at a medical spa or you can purchase a microdermabrasion product (such as Neutrogena) at the drug store. Good luck.
I heard the clean and clear blackhead eraser after using biore deep cleansing pore strips works really well.

Is plucking out blackheads with tweezers from my large nose pores going to damage my pores even more?

I've tried everything from retin-A micro the highest concentration, to tazorac, to sulfur masks, to salicylic and glycolic acids, and nothing works. They keep on multiplying and increasing in size! I've tried those blackhead removers but they dont seem to work, that or I've got no skill in that area. The only thing i feel that works is plucking them out with a tweezer since their tails are already way above surface, but does anyone know if this is damaging to the skin and will make my pores even bigger? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!Is plucking out blackheads with tweezers from my large nose pores going to damage my pores even more?

Let me tell you something not many people know,

When you try to wash the oil off your wash using soap or

any store brought product what happends is it sucks up alot of the natural oils

out of your skin, and what happends when that occurs? your

skin goes into over time trying to reblimish the lost oil

and doubles the amount, your pores open up more to get more of the oil out and air in so let me help you

Ah ok well my mother had the same problem as you,

and let me tell you what she did to make it stop,

this is a home treatment of course, the only thing

you may need to buy is a lemon if you dont already have some in the fridge,

what you want to do is get some lemon and squeez that

sucker into a tiny bit of honey, and mix that all together, put that

into the area where you want treated and wait 5-10 mins and than wash off,

the lemon works great as a toner and as we all know toners are

great for tighthing the skin and even better for your pores to look

smaller, the honey helps as an evener, it will even out the uneven

skin tone and also sooths the skin,This teachique not only destorys the pimples you already

have but it also helps prevent them from coming up again,Drinking alot of water

every day also helps alot :) Well I hope this helps %26lt;3 good luck

May want to look at your diet if the meds don't work. Yah, talk to the dermatologist or nutritionist. They will help.
It won't damage your pores, but it will screw up your skin. You'll be breaking blood vessels.

    Make regular appointments with a dermotologist or a facialist to have an ';extraction.';
yes definately it will cause long term damage to ur skin. above that whenever u pork ur skin with tweezer u give way to plenty of microorganisms which enter ur pore and then cause pimples and black heads . wash ur face regularly with tetree face wash and follow with astringent. u can also use pimple controll cream. visit to a good dermatologist or a skin specialist is a must.
this will cause long term damage to your skin. make another appointment with your dermatologist before you poke around in your flesh.

What is good for 31 year old skin with fine lines but a problem with large pores and blackheads?

This is a very effective, natural, quick working treatment that has helped many on Answers. It permanently rid my skin of large pores, blackheads and greatly diminished fine lines. Use an essential oil, lavender and rosewater are good for acne prone skins or those subject to breakouts - they have successfully been used to treat and cure acne and do not clog or make skin oily - and massage repeatedly areas with blackheads and large pores. It's best to make massage quite energetic. To do it energetically, you tighten muscles and thus make skin taught in area being worked on - that way there is no pulling or stretching of skin. In fact the massage tightens and firms skin. They wiil quickly diminish even in 2 or 3 days. Fine lines, crows feet, can be greatly diminished by again tightening facial muscles and making skin taught and simply rubbing them over and over many times. Again, expect to see quite dramatic results in 2 or 3 days. I've personally been using and teaching to others this treatment for a number of years. It has proved to be only beneficial. See my many B.A.'s and users comments.

The very best thing for you would be what a good dermatologist can do for you. Your condition should probably not be treated with over the counter medications; at least no at first. So, give your dermatologist a call tomorrow and schedule an appointment. You should be much better soon. Good luck..What is good for 31 year old skin with fine lines but a problem with large pores and blackheads?
No need to see a dermatologist. Just order some ProActiv, it's alot cheaper and does much better than any dermatologist would do. Of course, it doesn't work for some people, but for the majority it does. Its for all ages and both genders. Order the trial part though, considering it's cheaper! Good luck!

I am 31 and have always had a problem with blackheads and large pores. Now I am developing noticible wrinkles

I also have loose skin under my eyes. I know that traditional acne med is too harsh for aging sking but moisturizing is wrong for acne prone. What about proactiv? Anything else? Help!!!I am 31 and have always had a problem with blackheads and large pores. Now I am developing noticible wrinkles
Proactiv won't get rid of wrinkles or bags under your eyes. It will get rid of blackheads and pores though. The only thing to really get rid of wrinkles and bags is surgical procedures or the recommendation of a dermatologist.

get your nose waxed. believe it or not this really works. just take regular waxing wax but apply it to your nose instead. you'll have great results in the endDeep pitted blackhead has created large dint in my nose, how can I rid of it?
First take a hot shower. Then get out of the shower and soak a cottenball in HOT water, then immediently put in on the spot. This should open up your pore. Then sqeeze it until it comes out. If sqeezing it doesn't work, then use a sterile sewing needle. Just don't stab at it, cause that will make it bad. Just gently stick the needle into the blackhead and slightly moved it around, then try sqeezing again.
Try using those Biore pore stips..
clean and clear blackhead clearing astringent is great. waxing your nose would help too, but if the problem persists, you should see a dermatologist because it could get infected!
Squeeze the area around it until it come out

The constriction of the pores inside your navel are causing dirt to get trapped in there and the result is the blackhead. I am not accusing you of poor hygiene, but if you were to use a loofa to scrub out your belly button daily and maybe some acne medication, it may help your problem.

    Large blackhead?

I have a very large blackhead on my back (on my spine) which consists of many blackheads beside one another. The large blackhead is about 1/4 to 3/8 inch in size. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? I'm a female and would really like to get rid of it if possible.Large blackhead?
You should go to your doctor first, then if your doc thinks it necessary, s/he will give you a referral to a dermatologist who would be able to remove it. Have someone like your mom or a friend put hot (as you can tolerate) towels on it several times. Then maybe it will come out, but I don't suggest having someone pick at it for now. Go to your doc first. Good luck.Large blackhead?
I wouldn't pop it like it has been suggested. Reason

    why? It can get infected.

What you consider a blackhead may very well be

a growth that needs to be excised by a small

surgical procedure in the doctor's office. By having

this procedure done with a doctor, he/she can always

biopsy it to make sure it is blackhead and nohing else.

I'd start with the doctor first. Don't pop it.
This is more common than you think. I work at a massage school. So let me tell ya - the people who mess with them regret it - for months - and they leave really, really big scars. (Like, dime to quater size)

So unless its causing pain, leave it alone.

If it really bugs you, cough up the change to go to a dermatologist to have it removed. Squeezing it will only push part of it in deeper and cause one heck of an infection - which is why they always linger for months and cause the nasty scars.
skewer it ... stab it and pull it out like an olive
I would wash the area with a good natural soap also take quality vitamin and mineral supplements as well as essential fatty acids everyday as part of your diet. Acne and blackheads, amoung hundreds of other things, is due to a nutritional deficiency. Should you still have problems, then yes going to a doctor is a good idea. By the way, if it happens to be a growth like cancer you will need latryl (vitamin B17) which is found in almonds (get them with the hulls on, unroasted, from a health food store), apricot seeds...break the seed open and eat the little piece of fruit inside, this is where the B17 is found. Also apple seeds contain B17. My grandpa ( he passed away when he was 93) ate apples everyday along with the seeds and he never had cancer! Note: if cancer is in it's final stage B17 will not do anything for it as it is too far gone. The sources below are very helpful.
    Go see a doctor.
    think DOCTOR -- dermatologist
After a warm bath, try to squeeze the surrounding area very gently using clean fingers. If it doesnt budge, go see a doctor. :)
pop it out with your fingers....

Dear, i did facing such problems but now am looking pretty than before. I not need go for facial anymore and it really helps me to save a lots of money to buy those unhelpful products. If you are interested you can message me as well....anyway am staying in Malaysia. Have a nice day. Large pores/ how to get rid of MANY blackheads! please!?
    biore pore strips.
normal face cream mosturieses the areas-it doesnt have to be expesnive either
noo you SHOULD get a facial, it doesn't hurt. you've already tried all the other options. if money isnt an issue, then just do it...you'll be glad you did.
First of all, you need to be using a cleanser with AHA, glycolic acid and or retinol, that will exfoliate your skin chemically, NOT physically. Stay away from scrubs like ST.Ives that have chunks you can feel scrape your skin. They will initially help your skin stay clear of blackheads but they will damage your skin further and cause the pores to enlarge even more. I HIGHLY recommend Neutrogenas Pore refining cleanser and toner. The cleanser itself is wonderful to use as a mask which softens the blackheads for easy removal. After that apply a good lotion like Neutrogena anti-wrinkle night. I know, you don't have wrinkles but it is the highest concentration of retinol found without a prescription. Then, only on the areas where you have large pores and are prone to blackheads put a pimple cream like Stay clear or anything containing salycilic acid to keep those pores clear. There is no way to reduce your pore size, but you can reduce the look of the pores by keeping them clear with these products. I also highly recommend the healthy skin day cream with AHA from neutrogena. There are many primers you can use under, alone, or over makeup that will fill in your pores and hide them. The best that I have found is Cliniques instant pore perfector cream. I don't have room here to explain exactly why all these products and ingredients will help you, but as someone that has similar experience to yours these products have been lifesavers for me. Google the ingredients and you will understand.

dear! i can understand whta u r going thru with, infact it has happned to me once.the most important thing is your %26amp; digestive system ,avoid junk food %26amp; fizzy drinks.drink atleast 16 glasses of water a day ,you should drink 2 glasses of water b4 breakfast .next thing is icing ,take an ice cube %26amp; masage yr face with it .use acne soap, apply mud mask ,plus you can also apply aloe vera's juice on your face,it smells bad but it heals black heads sooo quickly . avoid stress and deprseeion .you will definitely feel better in a week
Exfoliate! This is the best way to make your pores smaller and remove blackheads. I use Zenmed's AHA/BHA complex and must say that its great for reducing the size of pores and also removing blackheads and whiteheads. The primary ingredients are purified water, glycolic acid and BHA. Glycolic acid helps to cleanse dead skin cells while promoting smaller pores and increasing collagen production. So, you get smoother skin with less scarring and pores are reduced considerably.

You can find it at popular stores or can also buy it online from amazon or directly from Zenmed.
    Neutrogena.. Clean and Clear..

Go to kmart and get this stuff called: Apricot Scrub Blemish And Blackhead Control. I had the same problem. But the scrub works really well for blackhead because it cleans deeply using these naturla ingrediants like little bits of walnut shell, and willow tree bark. But don't worry, it doesn't hurt or anything like that when you use it!

    Hope I helped! :P
    Home Remedies:

Grind nutmeg (jaiphal) with unboiled milk and apply on acne for 1-2 hours. This works as a magic. Pimples should disappear without leaving a mark.

Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Note that this remedy is not for sensitive skin.

Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.

Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for pimples, blackheads, and cracked skin.

Apply ripe tomatoes pulp on acne pimples and keep upto 1 hour, then wash.

Apply grated potatoes as poultice to treat skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc.

Make a paste of salt in vinegar. Rub it on the pimples. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water.

Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.

Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.

Blend cucumber and make a paste. Apply this as a mask on your face and leave it for 1/2 hour and then rinse. This refreshes your skin and prevents acne.

I do not know if any of these work . But i hope they help .

My cat looks like he has a large pimple the size of a blackhead with a black raised center. What is this?

the cat doesn't seem to be bothered by it, it just looks ugly. It isn't getting any worse. We just want it gone and my daughter is really close to trying to pop it. Does anyone know what this could be? I know it is not RING WORM....My cat looks like he has a large pimple the size of a blackhead with a black raised center. What is this?
You don't say WHERE it is, but if it's on his chin, it's caused from the bacteria that gets on the rim of a PLASTIC water or food dish. Every time the cat eats or drinks, more bacteria gets on his chin, and causes ';pimples';.

CLEAN the area really well, and put some antibacterial ointment on it. AND........get rid of ALL plastic feeding / watering dishes. Use glass or metal instead. Neither of these will ';harbor'; bacteria like plastic. Of course, you SHOULD be washing those dishes every day when you refill them, anyway.......

If it's not on his chin........it may be something else entirely, and need to see a vet to ascertain what it is and how to deal with it.

Hope this helps.........Good luck.My cat looks like he has a large pimple the size of a blackhead with a black raised center. What is this?
Cat's and Dogs can get ring worms, i just figured that out, and the way your discribing it sounds like my dogs ringworm, if that is so, catch it while its there, dont let it get any bigger, we put anti-fungal cream on my dogs and it's healing, dont expect it to heal quickly it took my dofg about 1 1/2 to heal,

    good luck
sometimes cat's oil glands can get clogged and it looks like a pimple and it pretty much is like one and it is filled with puss. but you can call the local vet and describe it over the phone and they will give you more information.
Go to a Vet and have them make a diagnosis. Without seeing the problem, or knowing all the facts , I can't even make an educated guess. And stop picking at it, or you will cause a secondary infection.
animals can get zits/pimples so thats wat it probably is

Best you can do is wash your face daily with facial cleanser, and use a oil free moisturizer and sunblock. Take vitamins, drink water and stay healthy and your skin will be healthy too.
go to the store and buy the biore blackhead strips. You just stick them on ur nose, wait a little while and just rip if off and out comes blackheads and all. Thats the best I have ever found.

  • I have very large pores and disgusting blackheads...yuk, dry wrinkled hands2 help!!?

Hi. Im going to try and give you the best advice that I can.

Sounds to me like you have oily skin (on your face). As for your face, I recommend washing your face with warm water (to open up pores and take out the dirt and excess sebum) with a cleanser made especially for oily skin (Try L'oreals) and rinsing it off with cold water (to close up the pores and tighten skin). Finish off with a toner (oily skin absolutely needs it).

Do this ONLY twice a day, because too much washing would just strip off too much of the natural necessary oils on your face and make it dry, irritated or more prone to dirt, hence more acne and blackheads.

As for large pores and blackheads, please do not prick it off all by yourself because we do not have access to sterilized tools. I suggest you visit a deramtologist or a licensed aesthician and have him/her examine your face, so that you might be given an appropriate treatment (like a pro facial cleaning).

As for your dry, wrinkly hands, I think you may be washing your hands too much (too much dries up, remember) and fogetting to put on hand lotion.

If your hands are REALLY dirty, wash both the back and palm of your hand with a antibacterial moisturizing handsoap or Dove. But if it is not, and you know you did not touch anything toxic or super dirty, and you need to wash it before you eat, just wash the palm of your hand. So that your hands will not dry up.

Always follow up with a hand lotion so that you can treat the dryness of your hand.

Also, try paraffin waxes to smoothen and soften the skin on our hands and foot.

Hope I helped you!I have very large pores and disgusting blackheads...yuk, dry wrinkled hands2 help!!?
Go to the doctors right and say about it and they will give you this stuff called zineryt and that helps a lot also just like wash your face with cleanser before you go bed!I have very large pores and disgusting blackheads...yuk, dry wrinkled hands2 help!!?
Ok, get some Biore Ultra Pore Cleansing Strips:

    http://www.biore.com/usa/products/produc鈥?/a>

Then, buy some Cetaphil Cream for your hands:

    http://cetaphil.com/Products/Moisturizer鈥?/a>
You need to look up Bee-Luscious Cosmetics (and don't let these Bozo's get to you). Find their Papaya Enzyme Cleaner and their Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub. These will clean your skin with all natural products including papaya enzymes. These enzymes will gently dissolve dirt, grime and dead skin (I use it everyday to soften my whiskers before I shave). For your hands use their Hydrating Creme Extreme. It an oil free moisturizer. Stay away from any moisturizer that contains alcohol, mineral oils or petroleum jelly, these can cause permanent damage to your skin and will actually cause more drying.
    Are you a panda?
Use pro active it REALLY works! i have it just please try it!
Pumpkin Peel, Pumpkin Peel!!!!! You apply it to your face at home, leave it on for 5-7 min, twice a month (more if you have thick skin) U will freak OUT! Demastage also has products for acne issues9 better than ProActive. The main thing is that it exfoliates and provides your skin with anti-oxidants. you can e-mail dermastage@yahoo for the whole explanation.
When i went to cosmetology school i found out that masking and scrabing the skin really helps with minimizing pores and getting rid of the blackheads. you should mask atleast twice a week and you will see the results soon.
umm i think there's creme or stuff you can use at drugstores to clear out the blackheads, or those strips that you put on your nose can maybe help clear the blackheads. About your dryhands, use lotion more. it'll keep it smooth and soft. and about ur pores i have no idea, sorry.
    i have very large hands
Here is the best solution for large pores and those disgusting blackheads, read the article I've wrote and you will know exactly what I'm talking about...

    http://www.easynaturalyou.com/skin_care/鈥?/a>

    Best Wishes!
I have pours and black heads i dont now how to get rid of black heads but when u find out let me now.
I'm not real sure what to do about blackheads, I don't really have that problem, but I know some people use biore' strips. I'd try those. Large pores, that can happen for many reasons, being a little overweight, oily skin or just genes.

Here are my suggestions for keeping your facial skin glowing:

Be careful of touching your face with dirty fingers, or re-using makeup applicators.

Use a mild cleanser or polish to wash at night (especially to remove makeup) and to gently exfoliate. Use a mild glycerine based soap or a mild cleanser in the morning (glycerine is going to rinse clean away and not clog pores). Washing with warm (not quite hot) water will open your pores up and help clean them out, rinsing with cold water will close them up.

Follow up with an alcohol free (alcohol dries your skin out, causing your skin to over-react %26amp; produce more oil) astringent (witch hazel is excellent, and it's a natural product).

Also, moisturize, morning %26amp; evening, and use one that does not contain mineral oil or petrolatum, to prevent clogging pores. Moisturizing adds back nutrients to your skin, to help keep it from over-reacting to drying conditions, and producing too much oil. I know that the moisturizing has really helped even out my skin-tones. Remember to moisturize down your neck, too.

Try using a facial mask once or twice a week, too, as that will also tighten up your pores, as well as detoxify your skin.

Also, if you're worried about ';harsh';, if it smells strong, it's likely too strong. Alcohol, mineral oil, and petrolatum are ingredients you should avoid in any facial product.

For your hand problem....first, drink LOTS of water (soda, tea, or juices are not hydrating like water, and caffeinated drinks actually dry you out instead of hydrating you). I know that my hands tend to ';wrinkle'; if I'm not drinking enough water. At the age of 30 I had hands like my 90 year old Grandma's, now, I have beautiful skin, all the way down to my toes. I get remarks on how soft %26amp; beautiful my skin is. I use the Jordan Essentials brand of products, and I will describe them better below.

I religiously avoid anything with DEA (it's a cancer causing agent found in shampooes %26amp; shower gels), mineral oil or petrolatum, or anything that tends to irritate my skin (I have to use dish soaps %26amp; laundry soaps that are for sensitive skin).

Without trying to ';sell'; you my products, here is what I use for my facial care (and I have oily skin): I use the Jordan Essentials lines of products: Body %26amp; Face Spa Polish for gentle exfoliation, and for removing makeup %26amp; dirt, this is my night wash. I use the Oatmeal Milk %26amp; Honey Glycerine Bar Soap in the morning, and any other time during the day I need to feel clean. It's PH ballanced, so won't dry your skin out. I use the Daily Facial Moisturizer with Soy morning %26amp; evening. Once a week I use the Silt Clay Mask (and love how glowing my skin is afterward!). I always feel like I've been truly pampered when I give myself a facial with the mask.

All of these products are available on my website, and may seem expensive, but they are VERY high quality, so just a little dab goes a long ways! Typically my spa polish will last over six months, the facial mositurizer almost a year, and the OMH bar soap and Silt Clay Mask about six months, too. Currently my 12 year old son is also using the products (except the mask...he's too ';manly'; for that. LOL!), since he has recently started breaking out, too.

If you're over 30, you'll want to start using a skin firming serum, which can be costly, but as with anything else of high quality, a little will go a long ways. Jordan Essentials Skin Firming Serum is used twice daily, under your makeup, or with your moisturizer. It is $25.50, and my bottle lasted nearly a year and a half!

I also use the Jordan Essentials line of products for my body...shower gels are enriched with aloe, Satin Shea Body Butter for extra deep moisturizing, and a Lotion bar for a protectant from the elements (like doing dishes or gardening). For your dry, wrinkled hands, I'd recommend starting with a tube of Shea Butter.

I wouldn't sell something I didn't believe in, and these products work great for me %26amp; my family. Witch Hazel I buy over the counter at Walmart. :)

There is more information posted on my website, feel free to browse. I hope I was able to help...it seemed you weren't getting very good advice from the other ';answers';.
Why you don't be thankful that you living.

I have large, open poors on my face, prone to blackheads, what's an inexpensive solution?

Washing your face with Arm and Hammer baking soda. 4 different ideas below.

Treat pimples w/ a paste of baking soda and peroxide applied at bedtime.

To loosen blackheads, mix equal parts baking soda and water, rub gently 2 -3 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water and use as agentle, exfoliating facial scrub after washing with soap and water. Rinse clean.

    rubbing alcohol working for me
    just buy sum clearasil crap...
ok you need neutrogena (i think i spell it right) black head srcub pads i have the same problem
you should use a water based make-up or one that is oil free and wash your face twice daily. Always moisturize and I would suggest using an oil free for oily skin moisturizer. You could also use a mask that is cucumber based that peels that will help shrink your pores. I would also suggest ARBONNE. It is not the cheapest in the world but it is a great skincare program and the amount in one kit last about six months as opposed to two or three. Their products contain no animal products and have no mineral oil in them which can clog your pores and are in almost all store bought cosmetics. The intellegence line is for all skin types and adjusts itself to oily or dry skin so if your skin changes daily or weekly you don't have to worry the product adjusts itself! you can go to www.ARBONNE.com
    rubbing alcohol
Use toner, pretty uch any off-brand or brand name will work the same. There are some for large pores. Use it twice a day, but cut down to once a day if you get dry or iritated. Good luck!
    Definitely rubbing alcohol!
i use st. ives medicated apricot scrub make sure you get the medicated not the reguar, it works pretty good for me, proactiv works great but it costs more
wash your face every night and don't eat junk food

buy yourself some natural soap and tea tree water spray, if there is a shop called lush near you go in and get yourself a soap called coalface. It's got rid of the oil on my skin, shrunk my pores and makes my skin baby soft (:I used to have very clear skin. Now it is covered in blackheads and large pores, with several pimples that?
It's probably stress plus how you are eating. You have to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of vegetables to keep your skin clear. You should also give up meat 3 times a week and substitute fish.

Over the counter stuff does not work as good as it should. It's very expensive to go to the dermotologist, but that would be the best thing to do. I know that vitamin A helped my boyfriend with his acne problem. 20 thousand IU's a day of vitamin A.
this is a old fashion remedie take a pieces fat back in put on the black head it draw the black head so it will bust and then use a warm cloth and lay on it a few minutes to make it feel better. good luck.

After washing--use some cold water. Cold will close pores and hot will keep those pores open. Just a thought and good habit to get in.IS there any way to remove large open pores from blackheads on the forehead or cheeks? ?
I don't know about removing, but biore does make facial washes that reduce the size of the pores.
soap works great, but you can always try proactive (google it).
Just wait overtime because they will close up.

Blackheads now, so will i always have large pores?

i have bad blackheads now ARGHH

i do everything to get rid of them and i mean EVERYTHING!!

    NOTHING WORKS AT ALL!!!!!!

If you have any suggestions on how to get rid of them, they will be much appreciated.

But what i really wanted to no was, i have blackheads now so if they ever go completely will i always have open/large/visible pores ?Blackheads now, so will i always have large pores?
You will always have large pores, but when you get older they shouldn't be as clogged unless you are on your period...Blackheads now, so will i always have large pores?
I use to have A LOT of blackheads on my face. I used a facial buffer (you can find it at Wal-mart for two dollars) everyday for the first two weeks and once a week after that. If you were like me, I had OILY skin. I used astringent three times a day for three days and once a day after that. Make sure to moisturize everyday but only before you go to bed. It takes awhile to get rid of but it works.

As for the pores. Once you get rid of the blackheads try using a minimizing pore lotion and do some facial treatments.
If you want to close your pores do this.

    Get one organic egg.

Separate the egg white from the yolk.

Clean your face with the product you use.

Put the egg white on your face and wait for 3 minutes, You can tell when your done you won't be able to smile.

When your done with that take a warm wash cloth and wipe it off

After that put the yolk all over your face, when your done you won't be able to smile.

If you want to get rid of your black heads, go to a Nordstrom or Keihls store and get this http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalo…

I use it and my pimples go away over night.

    Good luck!
I don't know about the blackheads but to reduce your pores, and to even close them, do this.

Pass warm/medium hot water on your face, then apply whatever you use to wash your face, like soap, cleanser, etc. Then wash off. Then apply the coldest water and wash it all over your face. Pat your face with a clothe and your pores are closed. :D
Git rid of blackheads by washing your face with a washcloth in the morning and evening. Keep the amount of sugar and fat you consume to a minumum. Your pores will not change over your lifetime, but as you get older, and your habits improve, your blackheads will go away.
Wash your face then steam it, this will tone and cleanse your face also minimizes pores where worse affected. After place a nose strip or fore head strip on the area of the blackheads for 15mins or until hard and clearfully and slower remove it. You should see your results on the strip.
Well, you will have big pores unless you get something for it. Clinique has some stuff you can use for that. And it should help them get smaller over time. Just go to their website and look for pore minimizer.

Hope ive been of help :)
get a facial they usually minimize pores
I use to have blackheads and i popped them out. i don't get them anymore, so i'm guessing that helped

    Large pores and blackheads help!!!!?

I'm looking for a cheap over the counter product that can dramatically reduce large pores on my cheeks and nose. I'm almost 30 and feel its getting bad! Please help.Large pores and blackheads help!!!!?
Look into Aveeno products. Their natural and there is no need for a RX (??). Your local supermarket or shopping center have them available.

Purchase one of their daily scrubs and a daily moisturizers. You will see a difference shortly. (it all depends on your body, ect..)

I've been using them for years now, its kept me clean and well moisturized.

Good luck.Large pores and blackheads help!!!!?
    get an exfoliator..

    Garnier has a good one..

But if you have large pores too i would recommend you see a dermatologist about it..

Blackheads can be steamed and removed with a tweezer.. Get it done from a salon by a professional...
exfoliating every day is bad for you skin.

im asian so...we have really sensitive skin.

but just exfoliating in general can irritate it...so do do it every day.

what works is buy those blackhead strips removal packs. from biore and their heating mask.

    first use the heating mask

then, boil water cover you head with a towel and put your face so the steam can open you pores (10 mins at least)

    then immediately* after

dry you hands off and put on the pore removal strips.

you'll notice it takes off more blackheads whiteheads than just splashing water on you nose.
Hey try a good exfoliater. Mary Kay has great one called Microderm abrasion. Its alot like going to the dermatologist and having them do it. It gets all the gunk out of your pores and feels your skin feeling super soft. Also just having a good skin regiman helps. Wash your face every morning and night, and use a good mosturizer ! Good luck :o)
Do you always have this kind of problem? if yes, it might be some thing wrong with your inner system. you need to rebuild your inner system before you can solve the problem. if you really interested in it, you can email me at saa_3600@yahoo.com.sg. hope that i have answered your question.

I have large pores on my skin and it always getting blackheads what is the best makeup?

to use that has good coverage but does not clog my skinI have large pores on my skin and it always getting blackheads what is the best makeup?
I also have large pores and I use clinique's pore minimizing lotion. it really does make a difference in reducing the appearance of pore size.I have large pores on my skin and it always getting blackheads what is the best makeup?
I use Dinair airbrush makeup and it is amazing. It's all water based so it won't clog your pores and it covers immensely well. I have used it for over a year now and i LOVE it! I always tell all my friends about it and i have gotten them to use it as well. You should type Dinair into google and look at their website..you'll freak out when you see it all. Its just so cool. Anyway I hope this helped...have a happy holiday.
My friend has the same problem as you, but she uses Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst and then she sometimes uses the foundation and mineral powder by Bare Minerals. Although, sometimes she uses Benefit Oh so Gorgeous foundation and any of the powders by them because they're all really light and don't have to be applied a lot.
i used clean and clear -morning burst every day for a month. it cleared me up and feels fresh as daisy.

aslo, try not to wear too much make up and always make a habit of washing your face with water many times a day. or atleast wipe it many times to get rid of natural oil build up over time.
I have the same face condtion like you. Try Averine products. It is a combination of skincare %26amp; cosmetic product and will not clog your skin at all. My beautician recommended this to me and I find that the powder is very fine and light.
The best makeup is a tinted moisturizer like Revlon's Age Defying Light Makeup with Botafirm for Every Skin.

  • Blackheads n acne scars wont go new pimples appear after old ones go n have large pores help plz?

n im having rashes too on my cheecks plz home remedies plzBlackheads n acne scars wont go new pimples appear after old ones go n have large pores help plz?
Acne and black heads usually appear on an oily skin or in teenage where body faces many hormonal changes, which reflect on the skin as acne and blackheads. Acnes are the most common skin problem, which affects everybody excepting few lucky people. In severe acne problem they can appear on the back, neck, shoulders and even on the arms.

The problem is always not as bad as at the time of puberty in the boys and girls. In normal course people do get one or two acne at a time though when there is a hormonal imbalance, people get acne all over their face and get dirty deep marks. Acne problem is difficult to tackle when they start spreading all over the body. Then you need to seek a medical help with a professional dermatologist.

Black heads appear on the skin when sebum gets stored in the pores of our skin and collect dirt, which makes the pores hard. People who don't do proper cleaning of the face too get ugly black heads on their skin which get deep set with time and ignorance. The tip of the pore appears black so they are called black heads. T-zone skin is more prone to get black heads as they usually appear on the nose and chin. By using some home made recipes and following a daily skin care regime one can surely prevent the problem of acne and black heads and can get a beautiful blemish free skin.

The keyword for a healthy glowing skin is drinking plenty of water. Water detoxifies the skin and keeps acne and black heads at bay.

Wash your face on and off with good medicated soap and lukewarm water so that no dirt and impurities are left on the skin.

For blackheads, soak rice in the water in the night. Grind them and make a paste in the morning. Add a pinch of turmeric to it. Apply this paste on the face and scrub off when a little dries. It removes the black and white heads from the skin.

Soak almonds in the water overnight. Peel them off in the morning and make a paste. Add honey to this paste and apply on the face. Scrub it off when dry or after 20 minutes. It removes the black heads and adds glow to the skin.

Rubbing a lemon peel on the black heads too removes them and clears the skin.

For better results take steam on the skin where you have black heads and then apply these scrubbers. It makes the pores loose so that the dirt comes up on the skin surface and it makes easy for the black head to come out of the skin.

Soak fenugreek seeds in water for 4 hours. Make a paste of it and add a half lemon juice to it. Apply it on the face and scrub it off when dries. It helps in removing the black heads.

Home made recipes for acne-some homemade packs are really helpful in preventing the acne and reducing their marks from the skin.

Calamine powder is one of the best things to reduce the acne and excess oil from the skin. Take two spoonful of calamine powder and make a paste of it with rose water. Apply it on all over your face and neck. It clears the skin and reduces the marks from it.

Soak orange peel in milk for at least 5 hours. Make a thick paste of it and add some camphor powder in it. Apply it on the face and rinse off with lukewarm water when dries. It prevents from getting acne and clears the complexion.

You can dry orange peels in sun and then can make a powder of it. Make a paste with rose water and rinse off when dries.

Sandalwood powder is extremely good in healing acne prone skin. Make a paste of it with rose water and apply on face and neck. Wash off when dries. It also makes the complexion clear and smooth.

Neem leaves have extremely good healing agents for acne prone skin. You can boil neem leaves in water and can use this water to splash on the skin several times a day to reduce the acne and their marks. You can add this boiled neem water to the calamine powder or sandal wood powder to make a paste.

Soak neem leaves in hot water till the leaves become soft. Now make a paste of these leaves in the same water and apply on the acne. You can leave it even overnight on the skin. It heals the acne and the scar, which comes after acne is not that dark.

Skin, which comes out from the neem tree stem, is very useful in healing the acne. You can rub it on a thick surface in little water where it gives a brown paste in result. This paste if applied on the acne heals it much faster than many other established acne treating creams.

Strawberry leaves if placed on the acne helps in healing the acne.Blackheads n acne scars wont go new pimples appear after old ones go n have large pores help plz?

i have a lot of big pores on my cheeks and a lot of blackheads on my nose. Is there a ';home'; remedy to take them away or something i can buy at walmart that won't damage my skin? And something to get rid of my racoon eyes the skin areoun my eyes is normal and my whole face is red is really embarrasing tell how to get rid of the redness or the racoon eyes.

If so please tell me. if nothing sensitive can be used im willing to use anything.FACE HELP!!!!Blackheads, Large Pores %26amp; racoon eyes?
For your ';raccoon eyes'; you can try vitamin E *comes in a bottle at CVS, or any drug store* I'm sure they have it at Walmart, too.

All you need to do is apply it around your eyes *don't get it in your eyes, though!*

Also, and easy solution for your eyes is to try to get more sleep. I know it may be hard, but that will help a lot.

For your big pores, mud masks really help because it makes your skin tighter *not in a bad way* and it will help close them. You can find them at almost any store at a reasonable price!

For your blackheads, I would suggest an acne program called Acne Free. It will get rid of any pimples you have, and it will dry up blackheads. Also, if you have oily skin, it will help with that as well.

It also comes with lotion that will help make your face softer, and it will probably help with your pores, too.

The acne wash will help with the redness on your face, too.

Make sure to use sunblock on your face because that may be why you have a red face. Skin care is a must for everyone :D

Hope this helps and good luck!

*P.S. - Sometimes the best thing to do is go to the skin care isle and read up! Some skin care systems work better on others then they would for yourself, but don't give up. There's something out there that will work for you!*FACE HELP!!!!Blackheads, Large Pores %26amp; racoon eyes?
If you want a quick fix to reduce the size of the pimple, use any toothpaste. Thats right good old colgate...just put on specific spots that are inflamed for an hour then rinse with cold water. Report Abuse

For your pores, use Biore products. They are specially made for pore care. You can buy them at Walmart, K-mart, or pretty much anywhere else you look. They have pore strips for your nose and face to pull out all of the gunk that is clogging your pores, and causing your blackheads.

I have also heard that you can make your own face and body scrub/exfoliator with sugar. Just put a little bit of your body wash (e.g. Dove, Suave, etc. ) in the palm of your hand, and then add some sugar until it feels grainy and a little rough. Then wash your face with it. It is supposed to remove dead skin which can clog pores and cause acne/blackheads. It also works well on your legs before shaving to avoid ingrown hairs.

For the dark eyes, use cold spoons. Put spoons in the freezer before you go to bed, and in the morning, put them under your eyes. This will reduce swelling, and puffiness. And try to get some more sleep too! And drink plenty of water!
Darling, just buy some plums, vodka, marinara sauce, cottage cheese and cranberry sauce. Mix them all together and smear it on your face and leave it on for 36 minutes and 23 seconds. Wash it off with 76 degree water with a cotton washcloth. It worked great for me. I am pretty much an authority on skin care and this is my best find yet! Tell me how it works out!
Well I don't know much on the ';raccon eyes'; part but I know what can really help your large pores/black heads I have it to and they just stand out but CLEAN %26amp; CLEAR DEEP ACTION REALLY HELPS

It really really really works but you should only use it a couple of times a week because it is also very very very drying
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
for black heads...try scrubbing wid a good scrub for 5 10mins...everyday...it helps n try using a concealer on ur big pores...
A deep pore cleansing mask will help minimize pores and absorb oil getting rid of the blackheads. These masks are usually clay based. Cleanse daily with a mild foaming cleanser and warm water to keep the skin clean. While many of us struggle with dark circles, it is hard to know which product will work best for you. Maybe use an eye cream product with vitamin-K. Vitamin K can help to strengthen the capillaries beneath the skin. This helps dark circles and veins under the skin become less prominent, reducing the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. Some people use an under eye cream to less the darkness of the area, which can make your face look brighter. To reduce redness on your face, use a green-tinted cover up. Green effectively hides redness from rosacea or broken capillaries. Merle Norman makes a wonderful green cover up; you need only a small amount to neutralize redness. Almay also makes a similar green cover up. To calm and decrease red skin, try Clinique's skin repair system from their ';Rx'; line. This is a white cream that you apply to red facial areas to actually tone down the redness. Then you can apply a green cover up over these areas, and if needed apply foundation/make-up.
    - Banishing Blackheads:

Although it's hard to resist, try not to pop your blackheads (or whiteheads, for that matter) that'll just make them worse. The best way to get rid them is with exfoliating acids, which literally dissolve those dark ';plugs'; in your pores over time. (Some of my favorite products include MD Skincare Alpha Beta Peel, DDF Glycolic Exfoliating Wash, and Neutrogena Rapid Clear Daily Treatment Pads.) Choose one or two at most, and work them into your existing skincare routine (which should include cleansing and an oil-free moisturizer with SPF). Your blackheads won't disappear overnight, but you should start to see results in about two weeks. If you want faster results, then kick off your new regimen by booking a light acid peel with your dermatologist (many spas offer this too, but ask a friend 鈥?or even your hairstylist 鈥?for a reputable place in your area). Just don't OD on the acids 鈥?you'll wind up drying out your skin and potentially causing more breakouts.

    - Reverse-raccoon tan:

Stop it before it starts: Even though you already know you should be doing this, slather a sunscreen with SPF 30 on your entire face to reduce greatly the amount of sun you'll get throughout the day. No sunscreen to date blocks out 100 percent of the sun's rays, but using a broad spectrum UVA/UVB formula every two hours will make your tan line minimal ... even cute.

Salvage it: Using a foundation shade that matches your tanned skin, dab a couple of dots under your eyes and blend, blend, blend. (Don't use concealer, since it won't blend well enough.) Also, go for nude or light brown eye shadow to help balance things out.

I hope I helped you out...
