Does Accutane help with blackheads and large pores?

I have had mild acne since teenager years and I long for beautiful smooth skin =( is accutane gonna help my condition?Does Accutane help with blackheads and large pores?
If your acne is only mild, and you only have blackheads and large pores, it may not be the solution for you. A doctor will likely recommend a different product for your skin, unless your skin is exceedingly oily. Accutane is normally reserved for cystic/nodular acne.

Some of the most-recommended products for blackheads are prescription retinoids (Retin-A, Tazorac, etc.). These increase cell turnover and prevent blackhead formation. Using these in combination with a newer medication called Nicomide-T (a topical medication made from B-vitamins, copper, and zinc) is a very effective combination for mild-to-moderate acne. The Nicomide-T also not only fights acne itself but also helps to reduce the irritation and redness sometimes caused by the retinoids. If your skin is very oily, Nicomide-T can also help with this. An excellent medication for oily/acne-prone skin is Clinac-BPO, a benzoyl peroxide medication that also contains a patented ingredient called Acrysorb, which is excellent at absorbing facial oil.

Doctors and dermatologists are frequently willing to prescribe what you request if you state your reason for requesting it well. There are many prescription options for acne now, and you may not need to resort to Accutane (even though it is definitely the correct choice for many patients).Does Accutane help with blackheads and large pores?
Stay away from Accutane.

Too many side effects to cope with.

Many better alternatives out there ;-)
