How can I eliminate the blackheads on my nose?

Unfortunately, blackheads are something most of experience thanks to the skin's constant sebum production and cell turnover. But there are a few things you can do.

1. Alpha hydroxy acids are also a good first line of defense. They gently exfoliate skin to prevent cells from building up and clogging pores.

2. There have been mixed reviews on pore strips. Some love them while others have complained about losing a strip of skin. If you have sensitive skin it might be better to avoid these strips.

3. Head off to the drugstore and look for salicylic acid cleanser. It will temporarily remove surface oil and pore-clogging debris.

4. Really stubborn blackheads are best removed by a dermatologist and yes... it usually hurts.

5. Retin-A is another defense that you might want to consider. A little stronger than the ydroxy acids, it loosens the blackheads while speeding up cell turnover. That means that skin cells have less of a chance to clog pores.

6. There are lots of home remedies to try. Here are a few... Mix equal parts of lime juice, almond oil and glycerine and apply to the face.

7. Beat an egg white until stiff. Add 1 tsp honey and then apply to area with a cotton swab. Leave for 1/2 hour and then rinse with warm water.

Tips:

- Did you know that ';Pore Packs'; have been offered in Japan for quite some time. For some reason, they have not been offered in the US or Canada.

- Pore strips have had better results removing blackheads from cheeks rather than the nose.

- I have read lots of accounts that state that these little strips are addicting... especially for men. They love to check out what has been pulled out.How can I eliminate the blackheads on my nose?

use asprin diluted in water as a toner. i swear to gosh it works wonders. nothing has ever worked for me before this.
Using a soft toothbrush with soap and hot water gently brush your nose.
Strips are okay (and fun!), but they are expensive and not all brands are effective as others. Always follow the instructions, and don't remove too early. I found that the UK brand T-Zone and Biore strips were the best of the bunch, IMHO.

You can buy black head removers- a long metal stick with a tiny spoon on the end with a whole through it. You steam your face, and use the black header remover (with the spoon bottom against the skin) to remove the goo from the surface. Although this is a brilliant and cheap way to get rid of blackheads (it's about 拢2- about $1.25 or so), it does in fact still leave some of the goo in there and doesn't solve the problem of open pores.

A good diet, clean skin and clean fresh air play a part in the appearence of the skin on the nose.
