Wet a washcloth with warm or hot water. Place it on your nose or wherever black heads appear. Hold it there, the blackheads will rise to the surface, and that will make them easier to be removed. use a hot compress to make them stand out then use the strips
you can use the facial scrubs that say for blackheads, you can use the nose strips or you can get your Doc to give you an antibiotic cream. I recommend all 3! the cream will keep them from coming back and when you do occasionally get them-use the scrub or strips
Blackheads are made up of dead skin cells and oil. Keeping your skin exfoliated, preferably with Retin-A .05%, will lessen the blackheads considerably. You have to get it by prescription. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Also, when you first try Retin-A, your skin will become somewhat flaky and dry feeling, but stick with it and in about two, maybe three weeks it will balance out and start to feel normal again, and in no time at all you will see blackheads disappear.
i use dead sea facial peel from sunsation...its on the expensive side but it makes my face feel great after using...and even though you can only buy it by the ounce it lasts 3-4 months....i find that it really helps with black heads
If you have blackheads or whiteheads, avoid squeezing them. It can cause infection and permanently scar your face. Getting treated by the dermatologist is the best option. The dermatologist can open the comedones after sterilizing the area, if needed.
